If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves leading teams, and is committed to excellence, this is the perfect role for you!The Role: As our Area Manager, you will play a vital role in representing the company and ensuring our cleaning teams consistently deliver the high-quality service our clients expect. You will lead and support a team of supervisors and cleaners, overseeing operational performance and maintaining the highest standards of service across your area. In this key leadership position, you'll be responsible for not only managing day-to-day operations, but also maintaining strong client relationships and fostering the development of your team.Key Responsibilities:Manage the contracted cleaning provision at various sites across South Yorkshire, including educational establishmentsMonitor and ensure the highest standards of cleaning services are consistently deliveredLead, train, and motivate cleaning supervisors and staff to maintain a positive and productive work environmentResolve site staff disciplinary and grievance issues as required, undertaking disciplinary investigations and hearings as well as sickness and absence monitoringConduct regular site visits to monitor performance, address client concerns, and ensure compliance with safety and cleaning standardsWork with other internal teams to manage scheduling, stock, and equipment maintenanceEnsure adequate provision of sickness, holiday and vacancy cover for site staff in an efficient and cost effective mannerAttend monthly meetings with senior management to report on performance and challengesOur Successful Candidate will have:Proven experience in operations management or a similar role, ideally in the cleaning industryStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage multiple teams in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operationsFull UK driving license as company van is providedFlexibility to travel between sites as neededWhat We Offer:Competitive salaryCompany vehicleComprehensive training and development opportunitiesA supportive and inclusive work environment25 days holiday plus bank holidaysAn enhanced DBS check will be required for our successful candidate, payment will be met by the employer.We are committed to employment practices and behaviours which encourage diversity, promote equality of treatment and eliminate unlawful and or unfair discrimination.We reserve the right to close this vacancy once we have received sufficient applications.
