OverviewSuperb career opportunity to join this dynamic SME that are on an exciting growth journey.RoleThe Area Manager role is responsible for managing a team ensuring all the sites are properly supervised and that the specified cleaning standards are met and maintained to a high level. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required to our satisfaction as part of the recruitment process.ResponsibilitiesManaging the team on site to ensure great service delivery whilst delivering maximum contract profitabilityEnsuring all budgets are adhered toMaintaining strong client relationships with high levels of satisfactionProviding and maintaining the quality of service deliveryManaging, recruiting, and coaching the teams on your sitesConducting monthly quality audits at each of the sites you are responsible forCarrying out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, as required by and to support the Operations ManagerHolding regular contract and specification review meetings with customersBeing responsible for ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation is adhered toLooking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings and account growthSeeking opportunities to sell in additional servicesRequirements, Skills & ExperienceExcellent communication and people management skillsStrong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence at a senior levelExperience with managing budgetsWorking knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industryAbility to work to tight timescalesExperience working with education clients previously would be highly desirablePassionate, flexible, trustworthy, and innovativeHold a full driving license and be able to travel to sitesBasic Excel, Word & Outlook skillsQualifications (Desirable)Appropriate professional qualifications and/or memberships.
