As a Warehouse Cleaner, you’ll be a vital part of our team – ensuring our warehouse is spotless throughout the day. You’ll always go the extra mile, ready to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You’ll report to the Warehouse Operations/Distribution & Recycling Department Shift Leader. With a motivated team, you’ll keep all areas of the warehouse clean and tidy – from the loading bays to the car parks. What you'll do Cleaning all warehouse areas, including the floors, fixtures, fittings, and mopping up spillages Removing and disposing waste packaging from the warehouse floor to minimise trip hazards Ensuring ‘clean as you go’ stations are stocked e.g. tissue roll, hazard signs Clearing all fire exits of blockages and litter Emptying the recycling stations and moving them to the Recycling areas Confidently operate cleaning machinery Proactively make sure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are met at all times What you'll need Have a keen eye and attention to detail Experience in cleaning or maintenance (beneficial but not essential) Ensuring compliance with Corporate Code of Conduct and Principles Follow internal guidelines and standards Be flexible in your work and open to executing individual tasks (excluding picking) if necessary What you'll receive 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) 10% in-store discount Ongoing training and development opportunities Pension scheme Enhanced family leave Plus, more perks to support your work-life balance You’re Lidl like us.
