Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect classrooms, toilets, staff rooms, and communal areas
- Ensure all surfaces are wiped down and floors are vacuumed/mopped daily
- Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidelines
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager
- Lock up designated areas after cleaning (training provided)
✅ School-Specific Requirements
- Must be available to work after school hours (3:00pm–6:00pm)
- Must be able to work independently and follow a set cleaning schedule
- Experience 6+ months in cleaning - working in a school or childcare setting is desirable
- Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate
- Must complete Level 1 Safeguarding Training (provided upon appointment)
- Must adhere to the school’s confidentiality and safeguarding policies
