Due to continued framework wins, we are looking to appoint several Senior Clean Water Modellers at various locations across the UK. Our Senior Clean Water Modellers lead our team in providing modelling, calibration, and analytical support on a range of clean water projects. About The Team: RPS Water Consulting is a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development to our Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery. This industry offers challenges and opportunities that require innovation, dedication, and teamwork. Your Responsibilities

Technical development and delivery of clean water hydraulic models, including construction, calibration, use studies, optioneering, and analysis, within time, budget, and quality standards. Leadership of modelling project teams across diverse water infrastructure projects. Line management of project team members, including daily leadership, workload planning, technical support, and staff development. Ensuring quality, standards compliance, and governance of modelling outputs. Managing project finances, forecasting, and contributing to bids and proposals. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Continuous improvement of modelling tools, procedures, and processes. Reporting on project progress and resource management. Contributing to commercial performance, risk management, and bid production. Managing health, safety, quality, and environmental aspects of projects. Traveling to client sites or other offices may be required depending on location.

About You

Degree in a relevant technical subject; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous. Experience with water modelling software such as InfoWorks WS, Synergi Water, or similar. Proficiency in MS 365, especially advanced Excel and Visual Basic. Knowledge of GIS systems like MapInfo, ArcGIS, or QGIS. Deep expertise in hydraulic modelling or related water infrastructure areas. Experience in managing or supporting project teams and delivering complex projects. Chartered membership or working towards it in relevant professional institutions (CIWEM, IOW, ICE, or equivalent) is preferred. Full clean driving license.
