School Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable, organised School Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

* Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard

* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors

* Empty bins and dispose of waste safely

* Wipe down desks, surfaces, and high‑touch areas

* Refill hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper)

* Ensure all equipment and cleaning materials are used safely

* Report any damage, hazards, or maintenance issues

* Follow the school’s safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Requirements

* Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential

* Ability to work independently and manage time well

* Good attention to detail

* Reliable, punctual, and professional

* Commitment to maintaining a safe environment for children

* Should hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply

Hours & Location

* Part‑time hours (typically before or after school)

* Based onsite within the school building
