Job Title: Cleaner Type of Business: Public Sector Location: Stoke on Trent, ST4 5NT Hours : 16.5hrs per week - 3pm to 6.30pm Salary: £12.21 Start Date: As soon as possible

GI Group are now seeking an experienced Cleaner with an Enhanced DBS certificate to cover a part time temporary role for our Public Sector client.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in cleaning, have good attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Main duties of the cleaner: * Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, classrooms and public spaces. * Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal. * Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels. * Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs. * Adhere to company policies and health and safety guidelines. * Ensure confidentiality and security when working in sensitive environments.

Role requirements: * Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role. * Enhanced DBS certificate (essential). * Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and best practices. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Excellent attention to detail and reliability. * Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
