Description Sales Manager /Head of Sales:
Our client is a well-established and fast-growing provider of commercial cleaning services. Who is now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager / Head of Sales to develop their team and expand their client base.
As the Sales Manager / Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading all sales and business development activities. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Sales Manager/Head of Sales Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
* Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within commercial and public sectors.
* Build and manage a sales pipeline, from lead generation through to contract close.
* Lead tender and bid submissions for medium to large cleaning contracts.
* Manage and mentor a growing sales team, setting KPIs and ensuring targets are met.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage renewals and upselling.
* Work closely with Operations and Marketing teams to align sales with service delivery and brand positioning.
* Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to promote the company’s services.
* Provide regular reports to the Managing Director on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
Sales Manager/Head of Sales Key Requirements:
* Proven track record in a senior sales role, within facilities management or cleaning services.
* Strong B2B sales experience, particularly with long-term contract sales.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong understanding of tendering and bid processes.
* Results-oriented with a drive to exceed targets and grow market share.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to spot opportunities and close high-value deals.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
