Job overviewThis is a full time role and shift patterns are between 6am-2pm and 9am-5pm Monday - Saturday, working alternative weekends.We have an opportunity for a hard working and caring individual to join a highly motivated, dedicated team of porter/cleaners and Domestic Team atLittlemore Mental Health Centre.We're looking for flexible good team players who possess good interpersonal and communication skills with previous experience of moving and handling.If you have experience in delivering high-quality portering and cleaning and would like to make an difference to mental health care in the NHS, we would love to hear from you!Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required. Main duties of the jobReceive and check food deliveries, checking delivery temperature and reporting discrepancies to head housekeeper following food hygiene regulations.Deliver meals to and from the kitchen onto the ward areas.Be available for the movement of patients within the Hospital complex, as required.Collection of pharmacy boxes and pathological specimens.Collection of dirty linen.
