An exciting opportunity has become available to work within building cleaning team in the facilities management team. The positions are for between 16 and 20 hours per week over a Monday to Friday working pattern. Working between the hours of 6am and 1pm.

About you

You will have:

Evidence of previous cleaning experience

Full driving licence and own car

Ability to read and write and carry out basic calculations in order to read instructions, write messages

Use of initiative and able to adapt to daily changes when needed

Good timekeeper

Ability to work in a team and encourage team spirit and work alone when needed

Ability to lift and carry buckets of water, bags of rubbish, vacuums and chairs

Ability to stand and bend and able to comply with H&S requirements

This role will include undertake cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bins, polishing and dusting of the designated areas (which may include toilets and shower areas) and fixtures and fittings, using, where appropriate, powered equipment. It will involve following a daily/weekly schedule and cleaning at multiple buildings through the day.

The role is diverse with no one day the same. There can be the need to change the schedule at times.
