Inventory Control Specialist/Clean Room

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for traveling to client site via company vehicle and paid travel time. Specialist will accurately track, manage, and replenish inventory within a regulated clean room environment.
This role handles highly sanitized research and development products. You will document inventory and sanitation process in compliance with clean room protocols, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
You will spend 6-8 hours per day at the client site -3 days per week.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Store, organize, and label inventory in accordance with clean room procedures, environmental controls, and safety guidelines and client regulations.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems (ERP, MRP, or equivalent).
Monitor stock levels, identify shortages or overages, and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
Issue materials to production teams following proper gowning, handling, and contamination-prevention protocols.
Conduct routine cycle counts and full physical inventory counts to ensure data accuracy.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to management and Sales Manager.
Prepare and maintain all required documentation in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP, or similar if applicable).
Collaborate with teams to support operational efficiency.
Maintain clean room compliance at all times, including adherence to gowning, hygiene, and environmental monitoring requirements.
Operate material handling equipment as required (pallet jacks, carts, or other approved equipment).
When not at client site you will work in the warehouse picking and stocking inventory to get ready to bring to client
You may be asked to deliver products with company van to other clients locally
You will be required to perform other warehouse and inventory duties
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Inventory control certification is a big plus but not necessary
2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or materials handling experience (clean room or regulated manufacturing environment ).
Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow strict procedures and documentation protocols.
Understanding clean room practices, GMP, or ISO standards is highly desirable.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods while wearing clean room PPE.
Work Environment:
Primarily inside a certified clean room facility with strict contamination-control protocols.
Requires full compliance with gowning, hygiene, and clean rooms conduct policies.
Requirements:
Must pass a background and 7-panel drug screen
Must have a clean driving record
Must be able to commit driving from Haverhill MA to Watertown MA in company Van.
LOCATION: Homebase is in Haverhill MA but will travel to Watertown and other local locations.
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 1st shift
PAY: $25-30 Hourly DOE
