Job Overview:


As an Industrial Cleaner , you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in industrial work spaces, such as factories, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities. You'll be responsible for cleaning equipment, floors, and surfaces, as well as handling waste management and sanitisation in accordance with company standards.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Clean and sanitise industrial equipment, machinery, and work areas

  • Operate industrial cleaning machines such as scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers

  • Handle waste disposal, including hazardous materials, ensuring adherence to safety protocols

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in warehouses, production areas, and other industrial spaces

  • Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to a high level of cleanliness

  • Refill cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained and stored correctly

  • Report any damages or repair needs to supervisors

  • Follow strict health, safety, and environmental guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure compliance

  • Work efficiently in a physically demanding environment, ensuring all tasks are completed on time


    • Qualifications and Skills:



  • Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred

  • Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures in an industrial setting

  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, and standing for extended periods

  • Attention to detail to ensure high cleaning standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to follow procedures

  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends if required

  • The candidate, will need to own their own safety boots and wear them to site daily.
