Overview Industrial Cleaning Team Supervisor role based in Stevenage. Full time, 06:00am - 2:30pm, £29,253 per annum. Monday to Friday only – all bank holidays off, closed between Christmas and New Year. On-site Gym, free parking, 28 Days Holiday rising to 33 Days with Service (Including Bank Holidays). As an Industrial Cleaning Team Supervisor you will join a dedicated team to drive excellence and innovation in Stevenage. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive industrial cleaning across campus, including external and internal areas Perform tasks such as jet washing, high-level cleaning, window and glass cleaning and upholstery care Lead as the subject matter expert for working at height operations, ensuring safety and compliance Manage Permit to Work processes and promote a zero-harm safety culture; oversee third-party contractors, risk assessments, and all relevant health and safety documentation Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, and client requirements; maintain accurate records and SOPs Support GxP/GMP laboratory cleaning procedures Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and reactive requests via ServiceNow Manage and develop the ICT team, ensuring training, performance, and HR issues are handled effectively Assist with asset management and preventative maintenance Drive operational excellence, safety, and high standards Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure service quality
What we're looking for Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Valid UK Driving License Proven leadership and people management experience Strong focus on health and safety compliance Proactive and highly organized Excellent attention to detail Customer-oriented mindset Effective communicator, both written and verbal IT proficiency in Microsoft Office, Permit to Work systems, Salesforce (Salus), and SAP
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
COSHH certification Working at Height certification Confined Spaces training Ladder training Banksperson qualification GxP experience
