We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a childrens nursery environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming for clients and visitors. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 18:30 - 19:30 & Friday 18:30 - 20:30 6 hours a week
A valid DBS will be required
*Duties*
* Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
* Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
* Remove waste and recycling from designated areas.
* Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
* Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning schedules and special requests.
*Skills*
* Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
* Excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
* Proficiency in English to understand instructions and communicate clearly.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that may require travel between locations.
* Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
