OverviewA great opportunity for an individual with strong commercial awareness and initiative to drive results. As the Commercial Lead, you will work within the Healthcare Services team based in Nottingham. You will own and develop the customer journey & offer for a variety of in-store services supporting the delivery of commercial targets. You will build expertise on each of the individual services that Boots offers to inform the future customer experience and performance. The Commercial Lead will support the Commercial Managers within the Healthcare Business Unit to own and lead continual improvement, as well as development and implementation of NHS and Private Healthcare Services. This is a cross-functional role working with Marketing and Dot.com teams, Superintendent Pharmacist's Office, Pharmacy Operations, IT, Finance and Supply – the ability to partner and work collaboratively is essential. Responsibilities
Support the trading and maintenance across all in-store services (for example, Pharmacy First, New Medicine Service, Winter Flu Jab service, Travel Health Service, Independent Prescribing, Chickenpox & HPV). Analyse and understand business performance and collaboratively work as part of a cross-functional team within Healthcare Services, creating and delivering plans to grow the services. Liaise with field & store teams and review customer and Pharmacy team feedback on services offered. Engage in stakeholder management across the business both internally and externally, including corporate customers and suppliers. Review and analyse data, market information, customer needs and competitor insights in a commercial context, turning this information into actions. Use Excel to manipulate and interpret data and capability to write and produce store and customer-facing communications. Set up and lead specific projects or initiatives, e.g., key seasonal activities and launches. Build relationships quickly with strong, effective communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders across the business at different levels. Pharmacy knowledge/experience would be desirable but not essential.
Qualifications & Experience The role requires commercial acumen, initiative, and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams. Proficiency in data analysis and communication is important. Pharmacy knowledge is desirable but not essential.
