To find out more visit our website.Job description:OverviewWe are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Cleaning Working Team Leader to come and join our Dumfries and Galloway schools account in Kirkcudbright Primary school, St Mary\'s Wynd, Kirkcudbright DG6 4JT.This position is on site£13.46 per hourThe standard hours of work are 15 hours per week (shift pattern 16.00pm - 19.00pm Monday to Friday).Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Dumfries and Galloway, working on our schools account. We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.What you will doSupervise cleaners within your team, carrying out basic people management activityCarry out bi- weekly cleaning audits for internal improvementsControl stock levels and order consumables to ensure service delivery through the correct channelsOperate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training providedTrain cleaners in Amey way modules including 6 monthly refreshersResolve any concerns or issues raised by team members or escalate to your people manager if you are not able toCarry out any reasonable requests that are directed by your line managerResponsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contractThis role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriateWhat you will bringHave supervisor/ team leader cleaning experience, preferably within a facilities maintenance backgroundHighly organised, responsible, efficient, and excellent attention to detailStrong customer services skills, friendly, approachable with a positive work ethicWelcome the opportunity to learn and support othersAmey is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff to demonstrate this commitment in every aspect of their work.
