About the Role
We are recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our client's dedicated team at a school in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to take on a leadership role, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and compliance while supporting and guiding your team.
Your Mission
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring all tasks are completed in line with key performance indicators, health and safety, and compliance requirements.
Allocating and monitoring cleaning tasks via PDR devices.
Managing job cards within set timeframes.
Supervising and supporting the cleaning team daily, maintaining clear communication.
Managing staffing levels, annual leave, and reporting to the Facilities Manager as needed.
Ensuring adequate stock of consumables and submitting timely replenishment requests.
Collating and submitting staff timesheets and monthly absence reports.
Conducting performance audits, tool box talks (TBTs), and supporting staff training (BICS standards).
Ensuring compliance with clients' Code of Conduct and company policies.
Building strong relationships with clients.
Reporting any shortfalls or concerns promptly to the Facilities Manager.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous supervisory experience within a cleaning environment.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff performance.
Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety (advantageous).
A proactive approach to maintaining standards and training team members.
A willingness to undergo (or already hold) an enhanced DBS with children barring check, due to working around children.
