OverviewThe Cleaning Service provides an essential service throughout the County of Carmarthenshire. The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils can learn in a clean and safe environment. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to assist the Area Cleaning Manager.Working hours are Monday to Friday, between 15:00 and 17:00, term time only (38 weeks a year). We offer an 'annualised' pay scheme so that staff who work term time only receive pay over 52 weeks.ResponsibilitiesYour duties as a Cleaning Supervisor include:training, overseeing, and coordinating the cleaning staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standardmaintaining the equipment, replenishing cleaning productshandling customer feedback in a professional and effective mannerRequirementsExperience in a cleaning role and the ability to manage a teamA keen eye for detail and pride in ensuring areas are spotless and free of clutterA positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skillsFlexibility and the willingness to assist with other cleaning requirementsAdditional informationAn Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be requested for this job.
