Let your leaderships skills sparkle as part of our cleaning services team, in a role where the little details make a big difference. You'll be responsible for ensuring that the domestic standards of the school meet expectations of both the client and Sodexo and work within the framework of the Service Level Agreement and cleaning schedules, explained and trained out by management. Assist and support management with daily operations, supporting cleaning operatives where needed.. What you'll do:

Take reasonable steps to minimise loss or damage to property, staff and pupils. Work with and oversee the cleaning staff to maintain standards in the school using the Service Level Agreements Assist in logistical support for the building including getting the school operationally ready for performances, assemblies, conferences, and meetings within the school and allocated buildings. Replenish cleaning material and equipment stock, ensuring cleaning cupboards are kept in a neat, clean order. Conduct monthly stock check of all chemicals and cleaning equipment when required Work in a flexible way to ensure that all areas are staffed ensuring that the customers in the school experience the best customer service from the domestic department. Maintain open communication with the site Manager and ensure expectations are met in the day-to-day operation Attend School and Sodexo meetings as required. Attend training courses as identified Comply with all School policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your workplace. Undertake any reasonable request from the Headmaster, Estates Manager and the Sodexo Management Team

What you'll bring:

Essential

Previous experience of working in standards driven/compliance environment Good knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations Client relationship/stakeholder experience / communications Previous experience leading a team is preferred

Desirable

Contract/FM experience British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) qualified or knowledge
