OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to manage and coordinate cleaning operations at RAF Brize Norton, OX18 3LX. This role is key to ensuring that cleaning and housekeeping services meet and exceed contractual requirements, service level agreements, and KPIs. You will lead a team of cleaning staff, deliver mandatory and site-specific training, liaise with military personnel professionally, and ensure operational excellence in all areas of responsibility.ResponsibilitiesPlan, organise, and coordinate all site cleaning and housekeeping services.Monitor and maintain the highest standards of cleaning and hygiene across all areas.Ensure compliance with service level agreements, KPIs, and contractual schedules.Supervise, motivate, and support a team of direct reports to achieve operational goals.Deliver team briefs, huddles, and performance reviews, identifying development needs.Oversee the delivery, distribution, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials.Carry out regular audits on cleaning standards and implement corrective actions when needed.Monitor and maintain health & safety standards, ensuring adherence to COSHH regulations.Provide timely problem resolution in line with contract requirements.Report equipment faults and ensure company resources are well cared for.Attend training as required to continue professional development.Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by management.RequirementsExperience in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions effectively.Experience working in a standards-driven/compliance environment.Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations.Ability to prioritise and deploy resources efficiently.Willingness and ability to perform manual handling duties when required.DesirableExperience building and maintaining client relationships.Awareness of quality management systems such as ISO.Previous experience working within a military environment.Proven experience supervising and developing a team.Hours, compensation and benefits37.5 Hours per weekMonday to Friday 0800 - 1600 (May be required to work occasional weekends)£12.71 per hourCar parking available on site, career development opportunities within SodexoA friendly and supportive work environmentWellbeing Support - Unlimited online resources, a free health app with 24/7 virtual GP, and an Employee Assistance Programme.Financial Benefits - Discounts for you and your family, salary finance support, retirement plan, and a death-in-service benefit.Career Growth - Apprenticeships, learning tools, and development opportunities.Work Perks - Cycle to Work Scheme, volunteering opportunities, flexible work, full training, and a protective uniform. #J-18808-Ljbffr
