Cleaning Services Supervisor

Overview of Role:
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will support the Account Management team in supervising a team of cleaning staff across designated sites. Your role involves building effective relationships, ensuring productive and safe work practices, and collaborating with site teams to deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Support and guide cleaning teams to achieve high service standards.
- Address customer requirements and concerns.
- Conduct regular site cleaning audits.
- Assist in recruiting and training new employees, including site familiarisation with cleaning regimes, waste procedures, and opening/lock-up protocols.
- Provide hands-on cleaning support and respond to requests.
- Deliver safety and COSHH training regularly and maintain accurate records.
- Schedule and assign duties to cleaners, ensuring standards are met.
- Organise rotas and submit accurate timesheets to the management team.
- Manage equipment, materials, stock levels, and place orders as needed.
- Maintain good relationships with customer representatives on site.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Cleaner or Cleaning Supervisor is desirable.
- Ability to build credible relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with audits and ISO 9001, 14001, and QHSAS 18001 standards.
- Strong listening and motivational skills.
- Responsive and innovative mindset.
- Self-motivated with flexible working ability.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships aligning with core values.
