The job role is to deliver a professional cleaning service to SOG Resources Limited buildings and its business customer residents leasing office and laboratory space at the Heath Business and Technical Park. Providing customer confidence and a high compliant standard of Health and Safety. Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor in the Accommodation Services department you will be working mostly on your own initiative within a wider cleaning team. You will be expected to: Ensure cleaning is carried out in line with the agreed schedule, using the correct equipment and products as instructed. Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of Health, Safety and Hygiene, in particular laboratories or workshops and wear correct PPE for the task. Report any hazards/customer issues/complaints promptly to ensure they can be dealt with efficiently. Always work in a safe manner, using warning signs when appropriate. Be the positive, professional face of SOG Resources Ltd on the front line, remaining polite, friendly and helpful at all times. Ensure that all equipment and products are kept clean and returned to the proper storage area when not in use. Report any faulty equipment. Provide assistance in holiday/sickness cover for colleagues and adopt a flexible approach when line management determine business priorities. The role will be delivered by completing a general 05.30am until 10.30am Mon to Fri shift pattern- 25 hours per week. Two weeks+ training will be given across the whole site upon induction. Please only apply if you can meet the minimum requirements which are: Due to the physical nature of the role, be able to daily walk around a large work area/multiple buildings, bending, kneeling, lifting whilst using cleaning materials and PPE Must be able to follow daily/weekly/monthly cleaning regimes Must be able to use own initiative and prioritise work activities Must have previous customer service skills or experience as this is a customer facing role cleaning work areas where SOG clients/customers are present Can demonstrate working within Health and Safety guidelines. This will be a permanent position, subject to a 3 month probationary period.
