Site Cleaning Manager - Large Industrial Site, North Glasgow | Monday-Friday, Rotating Shifts | £34,000. We are seeking a motivated and proactive Site Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations at a large static industrial site in North Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved when needed, while driving high cleaning standards across the site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and support the cleaning team to deliver consistently high standards across a busy industrial environment.
  • Provide day-to-day management, working closely with the Site Supervisor to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Operate on a rotating shift pattern (06:00-14:30 or 09:00-17:30) to maintain effective management presence throughout operating hours.
  • Oversee rota planning, staff allocation, and absence cover.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with client representatives to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Get involved in cleaning duties where necessary to support the team and lead by example.

  • Previous experience in a cleaning manager or supervisor role, ideally within an industrial or large-site environment.
  • A hands-on leader with a proactive approach and willingness to support on the ground.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced setting.
