Position: Cleaning Manager

Mitie have a brand new opportunity for an established and organised Soft Services Manager to join their team in Bishop Auckland, Durham!

Job Overview

• Build a strong working relationship with both internal and external customers including sub-contractors to ensure that all services are delivered in a professional, timely and cost effective manner
• Manage and lead the Soft Services Campus teams (cleaning, logistics, FOH,)
• Manage and lead the sub contractors for Soft Services
• Drive the development of a professional and effective operational team
• Monitor performance and develop services to meet client's needs, controlling and minimising operational, financial and commercial risk
• Support any site audits, including but not limited to, quality, health and safety and environmental, ensuring that the site is appropriately prepared, and that any corrective actions are closed off in a timely manner

What we are looking for

• Experience in an operational manufacturing environment
• Posses exceptional customer service and communication skills and highly literate .
• Experienced in people management, including disciplinaries, grievances, appraisals and performance management
• Managing large, multi-disciplined teams
• Computer literate and experienced in using Microsoft applications
• Driven and motivated personality, expecting good standards of work and able to overcome barriers/ solve problems
• Be organised, good at time management and prioritisation of work
