Job Overview To enhance our team, we now have part‑time after‑school cleaning assistant vacancies and are looking for candidates to undertake routine cleaning operations ensuring that the school is cleaned to a high standard throughout with minimum supervision. You will be a team player who takes pride in their work and ideally has experience and knowledge of cleaning processes and materials and the associated Health & Safety requirements. However, we will provide training and support for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
Daily classroom cleaning Maintaining bathroom cleanliness Mopping and vacuuming Cleaning furniture, fixtures and fittings, emptying bins Be able to manage time effectively to complete physical tasks to a high level Be able to work with minimum supervision Take pride in their work This role is based in the UK. Home Office guidance states that candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment, either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa. £13,196 Salary: Grade A1 (SCP2) Actual starting salary £13,196 per annum, equivalent to £12.65 per hour, 26 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days after 5 years of service Local Authority Contributory Pension Scheme Lifestyle Discounts through the VIVUP employee discount scheme Access to online CPD training courses through The National College If you do not have the right to work in the UK, you must consider your own eligibility for sponsorship for a particular role through the Skilled Worker visa route before applying.
