OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen within Stirling Council for a temporary Cleaning Assistant at Fallin Primary School. The post will involve providing 16 hours per week professional Cleaning Service on term time basis between the hours of 3pm-7pm Monday-Friday, paid at Stirling Council Grade 1. Contract Type: Temporary, Part Time, Term Time until 31/03/2026. Location: Fallin Primary School. Salary: £10,074.ResponsibilitiesProvide 16 hours per week professional Cleaning Service on term time basis between 3pm-7pm, Monday-Friday.Capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners.Clean surfaces to head height and be prepared to work alone.Personal protective equipment, tools and training will be provided.Applicants will require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.Requirements/QualificationsAbility to lift heavy items and operate cleaning machinery (electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers, vacuum cleaners).Willingness to work alone and on a term-time schedule.Basic working knowledge of IT and willingness to undertake training for online training and HR IT applications.Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children.
