Area Manager – Croydon & surrounding areas

Reporting to the Regional / Regional Support Manager to deliver exceptional service. Covering the Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas, being able to travel is key.

Vision

We are looking for an Area Manager who will drive the delivery of cleaning and other soft FM services to a customer’s portfolio of buildings. You will be someone who can work within a team and ensure targets are achieved within a timely manner.

Procedure

• Responsibility for the operations of the team and for the overall delivery of the operational and financial targets
• Proactive engagement and communication with clients, developing strategic partnerships
• Consistently deliver KPI’s
• Articulate results
• Working in conjunction with Regional Managers and the Senior Leadership Team to deliver and present both formally and informally to clients
• Responsibility for training and development, performance, safety and welfare of team members
• Hands on approach to guidance and support helping team members achieve required standards
• Follow company and client’s policies and procedures and accountability for inductions
• To lead and promote team spirit and the business values
• To ensure that all resources, machinery and equipment are available on-site and maintained within specification
• To quote for new services and Ad-Hoc Work

Person Specification

• Proven Background in Management
• Comfortable with travel
• Team Player
• Cleaning/Facilities Experience is beneficial

Salary £30k per annum

Company Van

Flexible Working 40 hours per week – some early morning and late evenings

Manual Driving Licence (required)
