Nursery Cleaner
Hours- 5 hours a week, 1 hour per day either early morning or evening.
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Location: Colchester CO4
Chestnut House is a well-established nursery within the community with a glowing reputation and long standing team members ranging up to 20 years’ service, offering exceptional staff progression and development opportunities suited to you as an individual, wellbeing support and a culture of togetherness. We are looking for a nursery cleaner to work alongside our busy childcare team, the role would include general cleaning in a variety of rooms including bathrooms ensuring exceptionally high quality clean spaces for our children to use. This position is for 10 hours per week across 5 days working in the evening or early morning.
Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience and experience in cleaning a childcare setting would be beneficial but not essential.
Nursery Cleaner main duties and responsibilities*:
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
Adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures.
Always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements

Nursery Cleaner requirements and skills:
Fluent in written and spoken English – essential.
Knowledge of cleaning processes and COSH – desirable
Over 1 year’s experience of working as a cleaner – desirable.
