Cleaner – Primary School in Isle of Sheppey

We are currently recruiting a reliable and committed Cleaner to join one of our partnered primary schools in Sittingbourne. This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail. While previous experience in a school setting is beneficial, it is not essential, general cleaning experience, punctuality, and a positive attitude are what matter most.

Contract: Flexible with timing and able to work from 12- 6pm Monday – Friday

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness across classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
Ensure hygiene standards are upheld in line with school policies
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls
Report any maintenance or safety issues to site management
Work independently and as part of a team to ensure a safe and clean environment for pupils and staff

Qualifications & Experience

Previous cleaning experience in schools, offices, or public buildings – preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules
Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term work
Able to work independently and manage time effectively
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
