School Cleaner

Salary: Hay 14 (£24413, pro rata)

*This pay scale works out at an hourly rate of £12.65

Total of 12.5 hours per week.

This post is term time.

Contract: Permanent, Part time, Term time.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed School Cleaner to join our team.

This position is based at Courtney Primary School.

Courtney Primary is friendly school with a welcoming team. We are fortunate to be able to work in a bright, modern building with wonderful grounds.

Job Requirements

•Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties

• Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school.

• Awareness of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with children and young people.

• Has the physical ability to carry out manual tasks

Main Duties

• To carry out daily cleaning tasks as directed

• To use all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner in accordance with instructions and specifications provided.

• To report any issues with equipment to Manager to ensure hazard are managed correctly and timely.

• To observe H&S requirements

• To maintain a good working relationship with other school staff and co-operate with reasonable changes to daily work routines.
