We are seeking an experienced candidate for this role as a Clean Water Project Manager for an outstanding company in the Water industry. The Company has an excellent reputation in the industry; its products and solutions use the latest technologies and innovation to facilitate efficient management of the UK’s waste-water and clean water networks.\n\nClean Water Project Manager – Candidate Requirements\n\n * At least 5 years Clean Water industry experience which must include management of field teams and project rollout\n\n * Experience of clean water network surveys and an ability to build new business\n\n * A proven history of stakeholder, personnel and financial management\n\n * Experience of applying risk management principles particularly in relation to the client, workload, scheduling and reporting\n\n * Ideally a Degree or HND in a relevant discipline\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * You should be willing to travel regularly spending on average 2 nights a week away from home\n\nClean Water Project Manager – Company Overview\nThe Company has an increasing number of long-term contracts with all UK utility companies. The contracts rely on accurate and efficient installation and maintenance of a variety of instrumentation from our Field Engineers.
As a total data solution provider, installation and maintenance of this equipment is fundamental to the business.\n\nClean Water Project Manager – The Role & Main Responsibilities\nGeneral\n\n * Managing project resources and implementing agreed strategic approaches and plans for clients across Scotland\n\n * Monitoring and reporting the progress of projects\n\n * Working closely with clients in the creation and implementation of instrumentation maintenance strategies\n\n * Communicate with both the company and client management, ensuring performance, budgets and KPIs are visible. This can then be reviewed or revised where required\n\n * Ensuring all budgets are tracked and monitored at a regional level and ensure this is fully communicated with the clients\n\n * Follow up any business development opportunities whilst also ensuring appropriate ownership of customer assets\n\n * Site visits to review options/viability\n\n * Ensure contract governance and adherence to contract specifications\n\n * Quality control and verification of data submitted by Analysts and Senior Project Engineers.\n\n * Ordering additional manufacturer parts and spares as required for distribution to regional teams\n\nStaffing\n\n * Selection and allocation of staff across the framework to ensure regional targets are met and that each region has an adequate level of staff experience\n\n * Performance management of individuals and teams\n\n * Responsible for all project team members including ongoing training and mentoring\n\n * Day to day liaison with staff\n\nHealth & Safety\n\n * Promotion of Health and Safety to ensure safe working practices to protect not only direct reporting staff but also external sub-contractors and the general public\n\n * Identification and management of risk across all activities\n\n * Communication of any Health and Safety issues in a timely manner with all clients\n\n * Responsible for all traffic management safety procedures\n\nClean Water Project Manager – Benefits Package\n\n * A starting salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 pa related to skills and experience\n\n * Fully expensed company vehicle (including a fuel card)\n\n * A competitive bonus scheme related to performance\n\n * Private medical insurance and Pension scheme\n\n * 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank Holidays)\n\nIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience for this Clean Water Project Manager role then please apply today
