Overview

Due to growth within Glen Group we are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Area Cleaning Manager to join a well-established and growing cleaning business in the Southampton, Basingstoke, Reading, Heathrow & Milton Keynes areas. You must be available to work Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on the demands in your diary.

Responsibilities

• Cover cleaning which can be short notice due to sickness and annual leave.
• Plan site visits.
• Plan employee visits.
• Deal with on-site issues.
• Correct issues.
• Carry out on-site audits with clients.
• Communicate with employees.
• Train new employees.
• Provide refresher training to all employees.
• Be flexible with working hours.
• Work closely with the Area Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

• This is a hands-on position; 2 years commercial cleaning experience and 1 year management experience required; full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
• Demonstrate diplomacy with staff, customers and surroundings; be trustworthy, well-organised, flexible and reliable with a keen eye for detail.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role; excellent customer service and people management skills; ability to manage own time and visit sites and employees who work early and late.
• Reasonable IT skills preferred.
• Availability to work some weekends, depending on demand.
• Full UK clean Driving License required.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Commercial Cleaning: 2 years (required).
• Management: 2 years (required).
