Your missions

Framatome Ltd are looking for a proactive and experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our dynamic workshop team in Avonmouth, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity across all operations.

Key Activities and Outputs

Liaise with Production Manager ensuring alignment with schedule and other business needs.

Coordinate and monitor workshop activities to ensure efficient workflow, timely completion of tasks, and optimal resource allocation.

Plan and oversee daily fabrication schedules, ensuring jobs are completed on time, to spec, and with minimal waste or downtime.

Lead and motivate a skilled team of fabricators, welders and general operatives.

Oversee workshop resources, including welding equipment, consumables, and raw materials, ensuring everything is maintained and available when needed.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and driving performance metrics.

Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and leading by example.

You are

3+ years proven relevant experience within Welding & Fabrication (essential).

Proven experience in leading/managing others, utilising good decision making skills.

Experience of assisting the development of workplace processes and procedures.

Strong experience with working in accordance with specifications and standards.

Previous experience in a highly regulated industry advantageous.

Questioning attitude.

Good team working skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills including influencing and promoting teamwork.

Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative with a can-do attitude.

Ability to take responsibility for problems within their own remit and to deliver solutions.
