The Governors of St Catherine’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint for the following position:

SCHOOL CLEANER - PART-TIME

Hours: Monday to Friday – 4.00pm-6.00pm – Term time only

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated person to join our cleaning team. The post is for 10 hours per week, term time only, covering the times indicated above. The grade will be G02 point 2 – starting at £12.65 per hour (£5540pa).

We are looking for someone who:

• Is hard working and conscientious, taking pride in their work and the school

• Is flexible, being able to work as a part of a team or on their own

• Is Able to use own initiative

• Has high standards with attention to detail

Previous experience of working in a cleaning and caretaking environment is desirable, including a knowledge or awareness of Health & Safety regulations, i.e., COSHH, Manual Handling, etc. However, full training will be given to the right candidate.
