School Cleaner – Newquay (Ongoing Temporary Role)

Location: Newquay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 5:45pm (Paid 4 hours per day)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £13.00 + Holiday Pay

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join a friendly team at a school in Newquay. This is an ongoing temporary role, ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time work in a rewarding environment.

Key Details:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 5:45pm
  • Paid for 4 hours per day to reflect preparation and closing down time
  • Immediate start available
  • Term-time role (with potential for holiday cover)

    • Requirements:

  • Must hold a current Enhanced DBS check for working with children (Child Workforce)
  • Previous cleaning experience as school cleaner preferred, especially in a school or similar setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential

    • Duties Include:

  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
  • Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained
  • Replenishing supplies (e.g. soap, toilet paper) as needed
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the site manager
