The role

The successful solicitor will provide clear, practical advice and run residential property matters from instruction to post-completion. Core duties include:

• Managing a personal caseload (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new-build).
• Drafting/reviewing contracts and reports; ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Liaising with clients, agents, brokers, lenders and counterpart lawyers to keep matters moving.
• Maintaining CQS standards and robust SRA/AML compliance with excellent file management.
• Resolving issues efficiently and using sound legal judgment.
• Contributing to business development and a collaborative team culture.
• Staying current with relevant laws and practice developments.

Candidate profile

• Qualified Solicitor with 2+ PQE in residential conveyancing (experience with lease extensions and complex titles advantageous).
• Strong communicator able to explain complex points simply.
• Proficient with case-management systems and Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail; able to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver great client care.
• Professional integrity and a supportive, team-focused approach.
