We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Housekeeper / Cleaner to join our clients small housekeeping team in Romsey, Hampshire which has been awarded a CQC Good rating. They are a bright, modern purpose-built 51 bedded Residential Care home in the heart of Romsey with excellent commuter access links to Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury and beyond.

About the role
 As a Housekeeper / Cleaner your duties will include:

  • Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes, toilets and public areas
  • Restocking toiletries, soaps, towels etc. as and when required
  • Assisting with laundry duties
  • Efficient and economical use of supplies
  • Ensuring storage areas clean and tidy and sufficiently stocked

    • About you
     To be successful for the role of Housekeeper / Cleaner the below would be highly desirable, but are not essential as full training will be offered:

  • Familiarity of infection and hygiene procedures
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
  • Previous experience of cleaning roles
