Job Summary
Salary:
£28,500, rising to £30,000 after probation
Hours:
Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Sunday, morning or afternoon shifts (7am to 3pm or 2pm to 10pm and 3pm to 11pm)
Location:
Rotation between sites of 33 Grosvenor Place, London SW1X 7HY, 24 Portland Place, London W1B 1LU and 55 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6BH

What are we looking for?
You will be directly responsible for the quality of the patient/visitor experience and for caregivers within functional areas. You will serve as team leader of assigned functions while also performing the duties of an Environmental Services Assistant.
The cleanliness across CCL Locations is essential. You will be responsible for leading a team of Environmental Services Assistants to ensure all public areas, bedrooms, offices and social rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest of standards. You will work closely alongside the team to ensure that linen, cleaning and operational supplies are available for daily operations within the EVS Department.

What will your duties include?
Performs cleaning duties such as: surfaces cleaning and sanitising, collecting and removing waste, suction cleaning, floor maintaining etc.
Responsible for consumable stock and orders
Maintains cleaning trollies and equipment clean, in working condition and stores in appropriate storage
Inspects and monitor assigned areas to ensure high quality of cleaning
Ensure cupboards are clean and tidy
To arrange and ensure all staff are provided with , and wear, correct uniform and personal protective clothing
To report any accident or incident and ensure appropriate paperwork is completed
To report any mechanical defects and needs for repairs thoughts the site
Oversight of lost property process
Other duties as assigned
What we need from you?
Previous experience in Housekeeping (essential)
Previous experience within healthcare environment (preferred)
Awareness of COSHH and health and safety regulations (preferred)
Awareness of waste disposal and infection control measures preferred
Strong customers service skills (preferred)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in coordinating multiple tasks
