Cleaning/Hygiene Supervisor to support the Site Hygiene Manager in leading and coordinating hygiene operations across all areas of the manufacturing site. Youll help ensure cleaning standards meet health & safety legislations, customer, and company requirements while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Pay Rate: £17.09 per hour(£40,000 pa) Contract Type: Full Time
Hours: 45 hoursper week - Monday to Friday
45 hours - 6pm
3:30am Key Responsibilities: Oversee and support the daily hygiene team, ensuring cleaning tasks are completed on time and to standard. Ensure compliance with hygiene schedules, Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs), and SOPs. Deliver and monitor hygiene training, CIC sign-offs, and refresher sessions. Conduct hygiene inspections and assist with internal audits and corrective actions. Maintain hygiene records and support audit preparation (BRC, M&S, etc.). Collaborate with production, technical, and H&S teams to drive hygiene best practices and continuous improvement. Skills & Experience Cleaning/Hygiene supervision or leadership experience preferred. Strong understanding of food safety, COSHH, and chemical handling. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Excellent organisation, communication, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
