Cleaning Supervisor

Our client is a well-established mental health facility based in Stoke on Trent who currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible!
The role will be temporary for 2 months, lasting until the end of December initially but may be extended depending on the needs of the business.
The role will be full time, working 37.5 hours per week and candidates will need to be flexible to work to a 4 week rota which will include earlies, lates and weekend shifts.
The pay rate for the role is £12.80 per hour.
Duties of the role will include:-
· Supervise, coordinate, motivate, train and work with all agreed services to provide a quality service to patients · Ensure ward hosts, cleaning assistants and porters report for duty in good time · Provide support and guidance to all staff · Monitor cleaning and portering services · Ensure Food Safety HACCP documentation and cleaning schedules are completed correctly · Provide on the job training and arrange a buddy for new starters · Complete competency checks · Ensure that customer complaints are promptly dealt with · Ensure agreed stock levels are maintained for each service area · Follow the accident/incident reporting procedure correctly · Comply with health and safety regulations · Report any maintenance issues · Carry out quality checks
Essential Requirements:
· This is a physical role and the post holder will be required to be mobile for the majority of their working day with manual handling - lift, carry and operate cleaning machinery · Previous experience working within a hospital or service environment within catering and cleaning environment/industry · A standard DBS check · Supervisory experience · Good IT skills
