We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleanroom Cleaning Operative to join our team at on of our sites based in Newport. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a controlled manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring product quality and adherence to strict hygiene protocols. You will be required to wear full-body Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout your shift. *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform daily cleaning of cleanroom areas, including floors, walls, equipment surfaces, and high-touch points, following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Conduct scheduled deep cleans and decontamination processes in line with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. * Safely handle and use specialist cleaning equipment and materials. * Complete all required cleaning documentation and checklists accurately. * Follow strict protocols regarding gowning procedures, cleanroom conduct, and contamination control. * Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to maintain a clean and safe environment. * Report any maintenance or hygiene issues promptly to supervisors. * Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including correct use of PPE. *Key Requirements:* * Previous cleaning experience in a manufacturing, cleanroom, or healthcare environment is desirable but not essential (full training provided). * Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain high attention to detail. * Comfortable wearing full-body PPE for extended periods. * Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including repetitive movements and standing for long durations. * A proactive and reliable team player with a strong work ethic. * Good communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards. *Additional Information:* * Full training on cleanroom protocols and PPE usage will be provided. * This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a controlled environment. * Opportunity for ongoing development and progression within the company. *Three shifts available: 10am-2pm/ 12pm-4pm/ 8am-12pm* Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: £12.65 per hour Expected hours: 4 per week Benefits: * Company events * Company pension * On-site parking Language: * English (required) Work Location: In person Reference ID: Clean Room
