Job Title: Cleaner – College Site
Location: London EC1V
Hours: 5:00am – 8:00am (15 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team, providing cleaning services at a college in London EC1V. This role is key in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Please note, an Enhanced DBS check is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas to a high standard.
Maintain cleanliness of toilets and washroom facilities, including restocking supplies.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
Empty bins and manage waste disposal safely.
Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.
Use cleaning equipment and products correctly and safely.
Report any building maintenance or cleaning issues promptly.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential – training will be provided.
An DBS certificate is required for this role (support can be given with the application if needed).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in the early mornings.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
