An opportunity is available for an experienced Cleaner to work within the offices and presbytery of Reverend Monsignor Philip Gregory at St Josephs Church, Crow Orchard Road, Wrightington, WN6 9PA. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with Father Philip and other members of the team. This is a part-time permanent post, working 12 hours per week - 4 hours per day over 3 days on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9am till 1pm.

The salary is £7,862 per annum (FTE £22,932.00).

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata) and 2 complimentary days holiday, pension scheme plus other benefits are available.

The successful candidate will be required to provide an efficient and comprehensive cleaning service to the Parish Priest and retired priests who reside in the site cottage whilst ensuring a pleasant, safe and welcoming environment to all those who visit.

Applicants should also have previous experience of working in a similar role dealing with cleaning within a domestic or commercial environment. The ability to work with other people within the premises and a working knowledge of appropriate usage of cleaning products for different materials is a must.
