Westbank is an award-winning, Devon-based charity dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. Our centre in Exminster offers a range of services including a fully accessible gym, Kidzone, conference facilities, day care, and community support.

About the role
If you are passionate about creating clean and welcoming environments join us as a Cleaner, and help us maintain safe, hygienic, and pleasant spaces for our staff, volunteers, and visitors.

What you will be doing:

Working 12.5 hours per week across weekday evenings, your responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning floors, surfaces, communal areas, toilets, and kitchenettes
  • Emptying waste bins and ensuring hygiene supplies are replenished
  • Reporting any damage or maintenance issues
  • Following health and safety procedures, including COSHH
  • Maintaining cleaning logs and communicating with site staff as needed

    What we are looking for:

    We will be shortlisting on the following criteria:

  • Previous experience in cleaning (commercial, domestic, or industrial)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Flexibility to cover absence and occasional extra hours
  • COSHH training is desirable, but we’re happy to provide this if needed.
