2-3 month contract position with a local authority

Summary
  • This is a 2-3 month contract position with a local authority, aimed at maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the school premises. The role is crucial in ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are upheld, contributing to a healthy and conducive learning environment.
Responsibilities
  • Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, and other school facilities.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the site manager.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and school policies.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS required (paper copy must be presented on arrival at school).
