The Role We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented part-time cleaner to help maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards across our school sites. This role is essential in creating a safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas Safely operate manual and electric cleaning equipment (full training provided) Handle cleaning products and chemicals in line with Health & Safety guidelines Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately Report hazards, equipment faults, or safety issues to the supervisor promptly Support colleagues by covering staff shortages when required Undertake general cleaning duties during school holiday periods Ensure safeguarding and child protection standards are upheld at all times The Ideal Candidate We welcome applications from individuals with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail. Experience in a cleaning role is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
