About The Role
Our client is expanding their business by opening a brand new office space, and is looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join their existing team. This role plays an essential part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across their production facility, offices, public areas, and staff facilities. Working with a variety of cleaning chemicals and tools, you'll help them meet their company's strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
General cleaning of the factory, offices, and public areas, including toilets, restrooms, and canteen areas. Responsibility for managing consumables, such as soap, sterilant, and PPE. Washing, sorting, and storing of company personnel work wear. Stock control and logging of workwear and PPE issued to employees. Communicate any issues promptly and follow company procedures. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.Skills & Experience
Eye for detail to ensure cleanliness, accuracy, and precision. Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships. Previous experience working in a role with high hygiene standards. Flexible and able to work varying shift patterns, including tight schedules.Desirable
Previous experience in a food production setting.Important Notes
This role requires manual handling and adherence to strict hygiene standards. Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, makeup, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area.
