Cleaner in Afternoon Team

You will be responsible for carrying out routine and periodic cleaning in line with training provided, including:
- Building entrances
- Corridors, lobbies, staircases and lifts,
- Teaching spaces including classrooms, studios and workshops
- Hubs and common rooms
- Boardrooms, conference and meeting rooms
- Offices
- Kitchens, toilets, bathrooms and shower rooms
- Refuse removal
- Deep cleaning as required
You will also be expected to report any damage or defects identified during the course of your work.
Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 1.15 - 5pm and Friday 12.45 - 4.30pm, totalling 18.5 hours per week.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Within the Facilities and Estates team,we deliver a range of services including cleaning, facilities support, grounds, reception, switchboard and helpdesk.
The post holders will be located at the University's City Campus but may occasionally need to cover at Coach Lane campus.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in the role you will have:
- previous experience in cleaning
- exceptional customer service skills
- experience in using a range of cleaning equipment
- ability to work on own initiative
- able and willing to work as part of a team
- a good standard of general education
