This vital role is based in Northern Ireland, where you will lead efforts to enhance and sustain the infrastructure required for advanced renewable energy projects.

About the Role:

As the Civil Engineering Supervisor, you will oversee the construction and upkeep of essential infrastructure that supports the efficient transmission and distribution of renewable energy across the region. Your role will ensure that projects adhere to technical, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all aspects of civil engineering work on grid infrastructure projects, from initial planning to final implementation.

  • Manage teams of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring work is performed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations.

  • Oversee the preparation and validation of construction documents, including site reports, design drawings, and specifications.

  • Monitor progress, adapting project schedules as needed to meet deadlines and respond to challenges on the ground.

  • Maintain effective communication with project managers, stakeholders, and community representatives to foster collaboration and ensure project success.

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil engineering, specifically with grid transmission and distribution projects in the renewable energy sector.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; additional professional qualifications such as CSCS, SMSTS are highly regarded.
